If you don’t follow me on Instagram (which you should so click here) then you might not know just how OBSESSED I am with avocado toast. It’s not bad because avocado toast is not bad. But the obsession is real, friends. Lately, the obsession has been with cream cheese avocado toast. There are 45321432 different recipes for avocado toast on Pinterest, but I personally think the one below is one of the best.
It takes about 5 minutes to make two pieces and then you’re on your way to a nutritious (I think?) and quick breakfast. You’re also on your way to making all of your co-workers jealous. I do it every day. Sorry guys! So continue reading below to see just how easy it is to put together some cream cheese avocado toast.
Cream Cheese Avocado Toast
Time needed: 5 minutes
– 2 pieces of toast of your choice
– 1/2 of an avocado
– Cream cheese
– Feta cheese
– Balsamic glaze
- Toast your toast
I toast mine until it’s super crispy. You do you. Toasted. Not super toasted. Burnt. It’s your choice.
- Cut your avocado in half.
I cut it in half and put one half, with the seed still in it, back in a container and back into the fridge. SOMETIMES it will last until the morning. Most days I’ll eat that half for lunch.
- Spread the cream cheese
I spread a pretty good layer of cream cheese on the toast.
- Spread the avocado
I usually cut slits in the half of the avocado I’m using. I’ll put half on one piece and half on the other. I use a fork to mash it on the toast. The fork is a GAME CHANGER. So, you’re welcome.
- Add the feta cheese
Sprinkle as much or as little as you want. Again, all of this is your preference.
- Balsamic glaze
Drizzle that balsamic glaze all over.
- Take a picture for Instagram
Did you even make avocado toast if it didn’t go on IG?
- Eat your masterpiece
And tag me in that picture you took earlier so I can see!
Okay, so all of those steps make it seem like a lengthy process. It’s not. It’s toast people. You’ll be fine.
