Behind The Scenes of a Styled Shoot

Have you ever been a part of a styled shoot? If not, you should be. Everyone should partake in a styled shoot. It’s so incredible seeing all of these creative minds come together to make something magical. I’ve been a part of two now and both times have been so fun. They have both been hosted by a brilliant friend of mine, Charley from Coda’s Events. She has brought together some crazy talented people to put together these shoots. So I figured I should take you behind the scenes of a styled shoot!

The shoot I went on the other day was an English Garden Wedding styled shoot. There were four different couples and four different bridesmaids who were the models for the shoot. I got to be one of those bridesmaids. Which meant I got to go and sit while someone did my hair and makeup and then I got my picture taken by some awesome photographers.

The decorations were amazing. They were all styled to show off the talents of all of the vendors. If I didn’t know any better, I would say it was an actual wedding going on. The tables were all styled, the outdoor ceremony area was styled, there was a grazing table and a photo booth. There was even a bar cart outside that was ADORABLE. It’s seriously always so fun and magical to be a part of these styled shoots. The time and effort Charley and all of the vendors put into these shoots is enormous and it all pays off for the shots they get to show off what they can do for weddings!
